Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a name or case number is entered into a third-party search tool displayed on this resource, the query is sent to that provider for processing. Wright County Court Docket does not maintain a separate local log or database of those entered search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When an email or other direct message is sent to the operators, the message and the information it contains may be retained to respond and manage the correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, the site may receive technical information associated with a visit:
- The IP address used to connect to the service
- Browser type, version, device type, and operating system
- Pages requested and the approximate time spent on them
- The referring page or source when it is supplied
- Dates and times associated with page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics tools may be used to understand traffic patterns, measure performance, and keep the service operating. Browser settings can be used to limit or block cookies. Blocking them can affect the operation of some site functions. Aggregated analytics is used for service administration rather than to compile court-record profiles about visitors.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, secure, and improve the technical service
- Direct an entered query to the provider selected by the visitor
- Measure aggregate usage and page performance
- Diagnose outages, errors, and security issues
- Support advertising or referral arrangements that may appear on the service
No Court-Record Data on File
Wright County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Wright County court dockets or personal case-file data. The resource provides general routing information about official sources, including Missouri Case.net and the Wright County Circuit Clerk. The judicial system, rather than this resource, controls the official file and determines what may be publicly viewed or copied.
Judicial access in Missouri is governed by specialized court rules, including Court Operating Rule 4, and by related access principles reflected in Court Operating Rule 2. Missouri Chapter 610 is the general public-record framework, but it does not override sealed, confidential, juvenile, protected, or otherwise restricted court records. This resource is not a consumer reporting agency and does not assemble consumer reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes may be supplied by independent providers. Information entered into those tools is handled under the provider's own privacy notice, retention practices, and terms. Those providers control their own systems and results, and Wright County Court Docket does not control their use of submitted information. Review the applicable provider policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
The resource links to court, clerk, county, Missouri, and other outside websites for official information. Selecting an external link leaves this site, and the destination's policies govern any later activity or information submission. Review those policies before providing personal information.
Advertising or referral partners may use their own technologies to measure activity or provide interest-based content. That processing occurs under the partner's systems and policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Depending on how the resource is used, limited information may be processed by:
- Search providers that receive a query submitted through their tool
- Analytics vendors used to measure site operation and traffic
- Advertising or referral partners operating placements on the site
- Government or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is required by a valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information handled by the service. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised. Visitors should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through any nonofficial search or contact tool.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adult users and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If the operators learn that such information was submitted, reasonable steps will be taken to remove it from the service's records.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may provide rights concerning personal information held by the service, such as the ability to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain processing. Requests are evaluated under the law that applies to the requester and the information involved. Court-record access is different: official judicial records remain subject to Missouri Court Operating Rules 2 and 4 and to the relevant statutory confidentiality provisions, not to a general demand that Chapter 610 release a restricted court file.
- Ask what personal information about you is held by the service
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion where applicable law requires or permits it
- Ask about available choices regarding certain processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as site practices or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date. The version in effect at the time of use governs that use.
